I've got so much to tell & so many pictures to show ,I just cant make my mind up, :(

So I 'm going to start with the most important,
I left off last time with bible school ,So I will finish with that ,
It was so wonderful!!!
This is a few of us,(teachers)

This is of our last night, when the families & friends got to come :)

This is one of the two,little girls that got saved,on the last night,
PRAISE GOD,He is so wonderful!!

We also had a balloon release,it had been storming so we was in a hurry
the wind was blowing hard,, :(

It was looking like it was going to go over well.

Till !!!! the wind blew most of them in the tree,
Oh well, the kids still had fun & us grownups did tooo! :)

So this past weekend my wonderful husband,
left for two days on a rafting trip that the men from
the church go on every year,
And if any of you know me ,?you know I cant stand being
without him AT ALL!! I never stay at home when he is not going to be home with me,,

So I went to my mamas for the weekend,
We had so much of a good time, we grilled ,watched movies,ate,ate,ate, talked,talked & talked some more,

Dillons sweetheart came over for a few hours,

And then I did some photos of my oldest sister Renee,
She is 10 years older than me but we have always been so close
to each other,

love this one,,,we have no idea who they belong too??
Oh well, it made a pretty picture,

I cant stand to touch feet,but love to do pictures of feet,

Its been a while I know,

On Sunday we had church & sunday night we had a cook out with
Good'ole American grilledout food,
Hotdogs, chips,homemade ICECREAM !

The Big town of Franklin every year has lots to do for the 4th,
so on saturday we had a grillout bbq lunch with friends & went to franklin,

On Saturday we cooked for mama ,mawmaw & my sisters
but only one showed up, but we still had a wonderful time,

Ok ,So if you have been following my blog for any time now, you know my most favorite time of the year is, :) Spring & Summer :)
I get beside myself I love it so much,
I love every thing about it, green grass,blooms on my flowers,the hot temps, windows up,a tan(after a whole winter of looking like Im dying,lol)
fishing,yard work (I could care less what my house looks like this time of year as long as my yards are pretty,I know some of you need cpr about now,lol),cookouts,swimming,I mean I could go on & on & on.
I get out of that winter depression, Yes !! I stay depressed in the winter.

But its like I come alive every march 1st. :)

So with that said, this is what we done this past saturday,
One more thing I love, A Garden !!

Its very hard work, but you get to enjoy so much from it,

Now Graceland on the other hand, we couldnt get her to do anything!

And for some other news, I was hoping to get the other blog & a facebook set up before giving out the Big news, but we have been sick & in camp meeting so I have been so busy,
So untill then ,I am working on becoming a photographer,(Yall thought I was going to say ," Im HAVING A BABY " NOT!)
Nothing big just for family & friends mostly, & friends of friends that kind of thing, its something I've always wanted to do, now the Lord has blessed us ,to where I can.
I may not be good at it , & never go anywhere with it,but atleast I can 10 years from now say I tried it,
Please say a prayer for me, I got a new camera, getting new photo editing things ,all sorts of stuff I dont know how to use yet,but with prayer, Gods going to help me I know he is...:)

I have teenagers !!!

I now have teenagers,& my baby is 10, :( :( :(

Pray for me I am going to need it,lol ,Last week was hard on me,getting through these BIG days for my babies. Although they was very happy, my heart broke as I thought on the days they was born,(Im crying now) On 4-8-97 The boys came into this world at 2 1/2 mths early,at only 2.6 & 2.10,,I think on how we didnt think they would make,So as you look at this pictures,Maybe you will know as I do GOD is REAL!!

And as I think back on 4-10-00 Our baby girl,also came into this world in a Big way,Me & her both almost didnt make it. I started to have seizures that morning & the only way they could get them to stop was to take her, so 24hours later I woke up to my 6.8 baby girl,.Thank you LORD you was so good to me even when I didnt live for you,

Yall please forgive me for not posting I have been VERY Busy,I'm starting something new in my life,so I have been trying to get it up & going, I will post in few days or so the big news..

First of all ,I would like to say Thank you for all the prayers during the time of the death of my friend,it was very hard on me & still is at times,but the past few weeks the Lord has helped me so much,,I have to give him the most Thanks of all,
Weekend before last march 5th - 7th we had our meeting at church,on that saturday morning we had a preacher to sing ,he sang the song,"The unseen hand"in the 1st vs, it says-
"There is a unseen hand to me that leads through ways I cannot see"
,,ever since Angela died I just couldnt see Why? Im not one of those who thinks its a sin to ask why,,but I do know I may not know why till I see him, And untill then I know his unseen hand as I go, He gave me peace that morning, after that my husband spoke about love & then another preacher spoke about love & it seemed as though the rest of the weekend was on love
"How much he loves us"??

And he showed us just a glimpse of that on sunday morning,,
He saved 8 souls & 6 was children,,
Thank you Lord ,You are so wonderful !!!

It was a good day to be at church :) :)
This past sunday we had a baptismal service,
Bro Richard got to baptize nine,

First we have the greatest nephew anybody could ever ask for my 20 yr old nephew A.j
he got saved on dec 29th.

Then brother & sister Gabe 14 & Anna 12,

got saved on that sunday morning together,

We had another brother & sister Ricky 10, got saved on a friday nt,feb 5th at a youth meeting,

Kelsie 7 ,got saved on sunday morning also.

This is sweet Angela, she has been coming to church for a while now, dating one of the Huber boys,lol

And the Lord showed her she was not saved,

This is a little girl that Angela has been bringing with her,her name is Katie, I think shes 10,

We love you Katie.:)

This is Chloe 9,the Lord has been dealing with her since before Christmas,

And this is Macie aka mae mae, this is our only red head little girl in church,

I think she is 8,maybe 9..

Lord I want to thank you for what you have done in my heart,

But Thank you most of all for saving souls,

Blog break,to much to deal with at this time

I am going to be taking a blog break,
I got some real bad news on sunday about a friend of mine passing away,
We thought she was doing better.
She had been sick for 10 days,then passed away,
I am having a hard time dealing with this,,

Its not at all fare that this had to happen to her,
Why her ,shes got 3 kids 13,11,5-a husband that has been in love with her for about 15 years,
I just dont unerstand,I started feeling guilty last night about being alive,
Cause I know Im saved & going to heaven when I die,But I dont know that about her??
So why not me??Please pray for her family, her kids husband,I just dont know how they are going to make it without her.

This is the 8th death since & sept,& 2nd friend to have something happen to them and I just dont know how much more I can take, or how can her family even take this ,to deal with?

Angela ,I love you so much,I already miss you so bad,you was such a good friend for 15 years.

Emily was 14 & mawmaw was 73, I know Iknow ,I have got the best looking Mawmaw in all of Ga, & the best looking step daughter too,
What can I say God has Blessed me more than I could ever thank him,

On friday a few of ladies from the church & a few friends

went to Mrs Brenda Robinsons meeting she has every year in Anniston AL,

It was so wonderful, we had so much fun & got so much help from the Lord,,

Do you know how wonderful he is & how he can give you whatever you need , when you dont even think it is coming,

I was overwhelmed by his touch this weekend,

This is Mrs Brenda, if you have never heard her ,but you get the chance to some day ,

YOU SHOULD !!! God uses her in amazing ways.

B-days & Winter Classic

I am still working on the video,

So I decided to post the things we did this weekend,

First , on Friday night We celebrated my step daughters

14th B-day,boo hoo boo hoo :( sniff sniff,,

Her b-day is not till this sunday, but she will not be our house then,So we went ahead & celebrated early, Happy Birthday Baby,,,

Is'nt she a Doll :) :)

She is enjoying her cake & icecream,,,

She had been wanting some rubber boots,

And as you can see she was very happy she got some

:) :0 :)

She is crazy !!! lol

Then on sat, We went with my daddy (as we do every year)

to the winter classic,(a big coon hunting convention)

Its something we enjoy, but the most important its that time I look foward to with my daddy,

It takes about 2 or so hours to get there, but its worth it,

Yes ,I am back , after a long break.
Not by choice,but just cause for the past 5or6 weeks I have had so much to do.
Every year from about thanksgiving till about feb, We have so much to do.!!

But anyway maybe I can get back on track ,Im working on a video from right before Christmas till New Years to show all of what we have been doing.
Because I could post pictures everyday of all of it & still would not get it all in. So the video can get it all over with at one time.
And I just thought about it, I've not talk to yall since Last Year ? That sounds like so long ago,lol

Way toooo Much !!

We have got way to much going on,,
And since I left you last with the bad news of another death,
I wanted to share this with you,

I am not one to take pictures of a funeral,or at a funeral,but I could'nt past this up,
This brought some peace to the family,
Kevin worked for a company called Diverse Power,it is our electricity company for the county.
He had been there almost 5 years & loved it,
It is very hard to get in,& work for this place.
Well on last monday we had visitation from 6-8, but so many people came we did not leave till 9;30.His mom, dad & brothers stood in line for 4 hours.
On tues,was the funeral & they wanted a private one, so only a few was aloud to come,
We went to the funeral home first & then to the cemetery,
When we got there it was such a blessing,
About 20 of the men that worked with him was there,
They had a bucket truck on each side of the drive way with the lifts up,crossed eachother ,
& they all was standing in the rain,with their hands over their heart,
During the funeral it was very humbling to see this grown men ,(that we always see as Mr Strong) cry like babies,& that they would take time off from their job,to show what real men they are.Some of this men I've known for about 15 years & never knew they had it in them.
This is a picture as we was leaving,while they was letting the lifts down.

Thank you ,Lord for Friends that can help a family in time of need,

Now to some what ? catch up on my posting..NOT.
The day after Thanksgiving every year we go & get our Christmas tree,
from the Christmas tree farm that is about 10 min,from our house,

This is something we do everyyear ,we dont let the kids go off
or plan anything this day,as you can tell Me &Jim love & the kids think they are to old for it,,:o)

Then sometime the next few days ,(when I get all the boxes out)
We decorate while The Polar Express is in the dvd player,

Poor Dog!!

And then I fix hot choc & we finish the movie,
because you cant watch polar express without hot choc,RIGHT??

HOW DOES IT LOOK?

So for now ,our Christmas get togethers start to happen the weekend after Thanksgiving.
Our first was Jims Sunday School class party,After we ate,All of us ladies put together the fake tree at church,

While the men played around, :o)
the next night we had our ladies get together for church ,I did not get to go because of the death,so I have no pictures. But they had a good time :o)

This past Sunday,each of our kids teachers had their class parties, between church times, Karen (cheyennes teacher) ask us to go along to help get them all there.
We had 6 boys ,6 girls..

We took them all back to her house after eating,
Look how sweet those girls are, (ha ha)..

So for now we just been trying to get shopping done,
Get to all the get togethers,
We have 4 this weekend,
The Cofields,The Butlers,The Churchs, & the Christmas play.
Next week we have ,2 as of now.

Please pray for the Butlers, saturday is not going to be the same without Kevin.
its still a shock to this whole family,

Once again...

Once again , there has been a death in our family,on the Butlers side.
The 5th since september,
But this one is the most shocking of all,
Jims cousin 33 Kevin Jones, killed himself sometime thursday afternoon,
Please pray for this family, Aunt Cheryl & Uncle Lowell are not doing good,
Aunt Cheryl has lost a brother-n-law, grandmother, mother & now her baby son,
all since the middle of september.
The whole family is taking it pretty hard,
He has 2 boys 5 & 10,they need the most prayers of all.
The funeral will be tomorrow,

Last night was troup countys,Christmas parade.
I dont know what number this makes,I just know I been going since I was about 12 are so,LONG TIME! But we go every year,we always have some to sit with us,& just have a good time with each other,:o)

For the first time ever, we had Thanksgiving at my house.

There was 20 people at my small house on thursday,

So its a good thing we are close,lol :o)

We have never been able to get this picture in the past years,

I still cant believe it, I cry every time I think of my mamas & daddys face as they looked at them all,

You may have the perfect family & this may not mean anything to you ,but it sure means alot to me, my family is not perfect ,drugs are in our family & it has destroyed it,

Mine & Jims family(out of us 4 sisters) is the only one who is not split up,

Do you know why ???

Because God picked us up out of drinking, drugs,lying & cheating 5 years ago saved us & put my family together,, What a WONDERFUL GOD we serve.

LORD I'm Thankful today for my family !!!

Please pray for these 11 children,

they are my heart ,But they need God,

he's the only one, that when they have a family,

He can keep it together.

(kids I want yall to know I pray for you day & night,I love you all SO much)

Why are weekends so Busy ??

Does anyone know why weekends are so busy ?

When its the weekend , you are suppose to rest & not have to work.

Welcome to my weekend :o)
The redo of our SIDEWALK.....
,
With all the flooding that has been going on the past few months
our sidewalk began to look like a "waterwalk" or mush walk,it was ugly,
So daddy said we needed to do something,

As they worked on that,(daddy & the boys)
Me & cheyenne, did some cutting of bushes & flowers for the winter,

This is what one of my flower beds looked like before,
& if you look to the left of the side walk in the picture above this is what it looks like now.

I know what most of you are thinking,
"Its ugly now"
Thats the same thing my husband says every fall when I do this,
But if you want them to do better next year, you better cut back.
My mawmaw (Ms Green thumbs) taught me that.

My chidren are very hard workers,:o)

After the hard work of the sidewalk & bushes,,

Cheyenne found some bugs(rolypoly's) to play with,
My kids are also not scared of anything.

I cooked a home made pizza for everyone.

Cheyenne had someone over to spend the night,

On yesturday, the kids had more children over between church times,

But when dont we have other children over ??

But thats ok with me,because it helps my children to have something to do..

We had to be back at church at 4;30 for play practice,

So yesturday was as busy as saturday<:o)

Oh ! & I must tell you, we had someone to get saved yesturday, how wonderful is that???

When I think of fall,

I was going to start this on wednesday,

But our internet has been down off & on,

So for my first post on Fall,

This is a few things I think of ,during the time of weather change,

.... VEGGIE-SOUP ....

I love when I'm able to cook to big pots,( one of each )

And we eat on it all weekend or a few times that week,

This is two of my favorite meals,in the fall & winter time.

I know its fall when I or someone else says

"Its a good cool day for veggie soup"

A sunday school teacher to the girls at our church,

Well ,this week was busy once again ,I stared even harder on diet,had something to do every nt, & On Friday ,we didnt get home till around 6, and if you live somewhere that the time changes,

you know 6pm is dark, which I dislike this time ,feel like its always DARK !!!!

But anyway, I did some cleaning, Jim & kids watched some racing,

On sat,they got up Jim & Dillon went hunting ,

I cleaned somemore,,We got ready to go to a get together,at a friends house,We had a great time, Cheyenne spent the night w-her sunday achool teacher with a few other girls, So some how I GOT TALKED INTO HAVING 5 BOYS AT MY HOUSE BECAUSE SISITER WAS'NT GOING TO BE HOME,,
But they was good, :o)

So Sunday , was church my favorite day of the week,Service was wonderful, & we started Christmas play practice, woo hoo !
I love Christmas plays,

Today I will be doing school, cleaning, cooking & going to prayer meeting at 7;30,

Maybe this week will be a little more laid back than last week,????

We'll see ,,;o(

I just had to show this ,this was yesturday between church,most of the time me & Jim both get a nap,but I stayed up to get some clothes washed up,when he went off to sleep Trudy jump up and went to sleep with him ,I thought it looked sweet so I took the first picture,,When I told him it was time to get up ,I walked off & few mins later walked back by & this is what she was doing,climbing up to his face to wake him,

Hello Everyone,I have had so much to post about ,it would be after christmas before I would ever get caught up,.So I have made smile boxes to show some of what we have been doing this fall,.We have been so busy,.We have had sickness,flooding ,sad to say death,computer in shop & a new member of the family to be born.We have had good times as we have had sad times the past few months.

But the Lord has been so good to us in all of this,,

I hope you enjoy,maybe this gets me caught up untill the new week,(maybe)

Oh ,I am going to start doing a post every wednesday,about Fall ,

Hello,Everyone !
I hope all is well,with so much sickness going around.
We have one by one ,off & on been sick,its crazy it wont go AWAY,?

But today is a new day-week & I may going to make the best of it :o)
So,I started a diet this past wed,just slowly,And today is the real deal day,
This is the diet I will be doing for 8 weeks,

Its called the heart diet,

And my goal is 30 pounds gone,bye,see ya,somebody else that needs it find it !!!
!!!!! I'M SICK OF BEING FAT !!!!!

My goal also is to look like this again, I was about 40 pds lighter than what I am now,

SKINNY GIRL :O) :O)
This was taken in 03" (you guessed it,halloween)(before we was saved)
I had been on a subway diet & lost a lot !!

Anyway, I have set some goals for myself on last week,
..Diet,
..I have been reading the book;The power of prayer,by R.A Torrey
WONDERFUL,But the Lord has been on me about my prayer life,
not that I dont pray, but that I have been ??mmmmm,
Not what I use to be in prayer I guess is what I'm saying,
When I first got saved I spent hours through out the day in prayer,
and I have slowly got down to when I get time,
But reading this book & we started a 8 week prayer meeting at church has helped so much,
..now since time has changed back (I dislike this time) I got to take time for outside things more before it gets dark, instead of when I get done with house stuff,
.. And the list goes on & on , I will post them next monday,
Because its time to get UP !!!

Baby Woods,

As of about 3;30,his fever had went down some,not gone yet,

And he wanted something to eat ,he has not done that in a few days now,

They have ran test & more test & more test !!

And still do not know whats wrong with him,

Thank you for praying,

Will you still pray for him,

Nobody understands whats going on,

We are very worried,

So much has gone on in our families lately,

I feel as though I'm asleep at times,

He was born 2 weeks ago yesturday,
he was 7'1 & 19 in,long looks just like his daddy, my cousin C,J Carter.

His mother is Randi,

this was taken when he was 4 days old,My Aunt is in the purple,
she is my daddys baby sister,

She called me about 2 hours ago,
Woods has been put in hospital,
with high fever & crying when you touch him,

They are running test,all that have been done so far ,shows nothing,

PLEASE I'm asking to
pray for this sweet baby..

We all are very worried,
But I cant even began to know how Randi & CJ feel,?

He was so perfect on this day,

Thank ya'll ,once again,

I will keep yall updated..

Lord ,I ask that you will please be with Woods, you & only you can help him & give those doctors wisdom in this time,

Update :A,Becky passed away sat morning, we are going up today,they live in athens Ga, bout two hours away,please say a prayer for us,Jim needs it right now,the past few mths, have been hard..I love yall,thank yall..

My computer is in the shop, wont be ready till end of week,or next week sometime,
I'm using my moms right now,dont know when I will be around one again, I wanted you all to know ,I hav'nt forgot about you,

Most of us have been sick ,just took Dakota to the doc,& I may have to go in the next few days if I dont get better,,WHAT is all this mess going around ????

On monday after noon Jims Aunt Becky Ann,(his mamas sister)
had a heart attack,it was bad,
She has been on life support ever since ,they was hoping she would come out of the coma,
but has not, I talked to Jims sister a few mins ago & she said they are starting to take her off the meds, they have her on,,
Please pray for her & our family,
Jim has yet to get over the loss of his uncle a few weeks ago,this is going to be hard..

God knows what he is doing in our family,even though we dont understand,

OK so a few weeks ago I joined the
......*Big Butt Club*.......

I did not do anything on last monday cause of a sickness that was going through my household,
And monday was my day to have it,
So for this monday I have to catch up a bit,
Sorry ,! I mean alot,

This weekend was full of FUN, but busy ,
Thursday & Friday we had fall break ,no school,"*yoohoo*"
Opening weekend of deer season "*yoohoo*"
We had someone to spend the night ,fri nt,
& Friday it began to get cold,not cool ,but cold."*yoo hoo*"
(this morning we had our first frost) "*yoohoo*"
Sat ,morning we had a few people to come over for a while
to eat breakfast. (I got up to fix ,opening day breakfast),

And yesturday was Homecoming at our church ,"*yoohoo*"
(can you tell the things i like ?)
Oh & yesturday after church ,we went saw my new baby cousin
that was born wed, & then me & my husband went hunting, "*yoo hoo*"

So for all you mamas out there !!!!!!!!!!!

I hav'nt got out fall & winter clothes yet...boohoo :(
And today is mon,so we have to get back on school :(

So to get off my BUTT today ,I have got to catch up..

Five years ago ,God saved my husband.

On Oct 6th his grandma past away,God begin to work on him even harder,It had started bout ,1 month before this,(Gods working that is)

Bro Michael (my pastor at the time) had been talking with him showing the kind of love a preacher does.

Jim didnt understand what was wrong with him either did I ,I had only been saved 2 mths and was still on ,the thought of its really this good!!

But anyway this week his grandma past away & Bro Michael had went to a camp of week long prayer & and was praying the whole time for Jim to be saved & had other preachers in prayer for him..

Jim was all by hisself on a sat,night on his way home for a party,when God told him if he wrecked that truck ,he would die and go to hell,Jim ask God at that time what ever it takes I dont want to go to hell,please save me.

I had been saved in Aug,we got married in Aug,

He was saved in Oct,

God not only saved him & me ,married us.

He called him to preach 9months later,

( His first message)Aug,14-05 Living Waters Baptist Church.

Out of ,Song of Solomon ch 5,vs 2.

God has been so GOOD to us ,he could have just saved us & never Blessed us again,

But he has done SO much more for us.

We now have a family* We still day by day love God more & more*

*We love each other more & more everyday*We have a wonderful church* great friends*

He is so WONDERFUL !!!!!!!!!

Yes we have been partying,,

I did'nt have time to post all these as we had them ,we had so much going on , we have been so busy..
But, I'm trying to catch up,
So back on Sept,12, We was invited to send the afternoon with my Aunt Cindy,she turned 50,
My Uncle Marshall gave her a surprise party,& most of her family & the Cofields was there.

I love this woman !!! :o)

This is her & their only son,Alan one of my favorite cousins,

The very next day,we had another party,for a friend of ours little girl Bailey,

she is their only child also, she turned 11,

All these kids in this picture, are children of parents that have been friends for a very long time,(16 years). Baileys mama is Krista,that sweet blonde baby belongs to Audra,

She tried to have a baby for so long ,&God blessed them with her last jan 1-08

she is a new years baby..her name is Maryana.

And of course all the rest is mine..:o)

Then the next weekend was spen mans (Spencer)(my baby nephew) b-day.

He is the youngest of all the grandkids,they range between 21-8

& there is 11 of them.

Happy 8th b-day spen,,*** beck beck loves you ***

I make him take pictures with me ,can you tell???

And then this past sunday night,

Last but not least,My Preacher,

his b-day was friday , we gave him a party on sunday night after church,

Camping & Good news

Today I post two pictures to show God is answering prayer in my family on both sides,
& a smilebox of our camping trip in the fall..

Jim's daddy came out to the camp on friday night,& spent about 4 hours with us,we had a great time with him..,Its been years since he came to just spend time with us.

Since U,Spencer past away him & Jim has talked 2 to 3 times a week on the phone.
He says he is coming to our home coming in a few weeks.

This is me & one of my sisters,Rhonda (she is next to the oldest ) & she would do anything for me..we are very close.

She has in the past few mths,been talking like she never has before,,,like church,ask mama to find her a blue jean skirt so just in case she wants to go to church she can,& she also told me one day she thinks she is going crazy ..(Im praying its convection)

She came out on thursday & friday to spend time with us, She was around my preacher on friday,

She called me sat morning & said,

"I like your preacher,I wish I had sundays off so I could come to church with ya'll"

I started to cry,shes never told me that before.

Please keep our family in your prayers,The LORD is answering all at one time,

I love you LORD,Thank you !!

We are camping this week,, went out last night & set up camp,,I came home for a few hours to get ready for church to night....I will have you some wonderful pictures, when I return.But until then here is a sneak peek,of,

As of Saturday,we had our last day of rain ..:(

It had rained for about 2o-25 days..

Some days was 10mins,others was all day ,DOWN POURS !!

This is the results of all that in our area:::
Franklin Ga,,,

This is Brush Creek park 2min,from my house by car,

or you can walk through my back yard to the right & get there (it would just a while walking through woods) yes thats a picnic table,thats how far the water was up-on monday 21st...

On thursday they had the park shut down ,you couldnt even get through the gate...

This is the Chattahoochee River bridge in Franklin, (town part)
You have to cross this to get to the ONLY groc,store we have in this small town..

The trees to your right, before them is supposed to be the bank to the river& under those trees is the picnic tables for the ball park..(our only ball park)

They closed the bridge on thursday also,we not sure why?

This is one of the roads that takes you to the elementary school..

This is the LaGrange area,at one of the many,many boat ramps we have(we do all our business in LaGrange)

I stopped to take pictures & before I could get out of the car,these ducks was running at me..

Makes me wonder if they are having a hard time finding food,or their nest was over taken by the high waters..

We gave them some bread ,,poor babies ;(

I do not have any pictures ,But as bad as that seems to the people that live around here,The Atlanta & Carrollton area got it bad,,schools are still shut down,houses flooded away,

people have died,a 2 year old was swept away out of his daddys arms,roads are closed & even some of our interstates are shut down, & Six Flags flooded.

If you have ever heard of Atlanta,you know its not a place you would think floods,My mama said she dont guess she's ever heard of it flooding.

Its very sad would you please pray for this area,families need help..

It went wonderful part two..

Well, I kinda left you all hanging the other day when I posted about the funeral.

So I now have time to give the story..

Jim had been worried the whole time about everything......

The night U,Spencer died they ask him to pray,the closing prayer at funeral-he said he would..

He was hurting because of the passing away,he was close to him,how fast it all happened,& not at peace on him being saved..We talked about it everyday & his thoughts got better each day..

On that wed,after he past away, Travis(his son) came by our shop to tell Jim the family had talked & they also wanted him to preach,(say a few words) they said whatever is on your heart??(None of his family has ever heard him preach)..(sad)(his first funeral)

He told me about it as we got ready for church that night ,,He said ,U,Spencer gave me a home when my daddy ran me off, he has never looked down on me ,no matter what I had done, he would help me work on a car ,at the drop of a hat..

How do I get up & preach & honor him -without hurting my daddy?(they have never been close)(we see him 3to4 times a year)

I said what I thought was right ,dont you leave the funeral wishing you had said something & you didnt....(I'm all for telling those you love ,that you love them,,his family is not like mine)....

We talked each day & seem like the LORD gave us more & more peace everyday..about it all...

I ask if he didnt want to do it, he said no,I'm honored that they would ask me ,but I dont want to say the wrong thing??

On friday we had the visitaion..it went well,, the family was having such a hard time..

On sat,was the funeral, I told him on the way,just keep in mind God had to take someone for me to see I was lost,he can use all of this no matter how much we are hurting ,he just nodded..

There was 3 preachers,one who opened ,the 2nd talked about him & said some things all the kids wanted him to have say about him...Jim was the last,He did wonderful it was all GOD,,as soon as he started to talk...He read the vs,
out of Prov,18;24,..Aman that hath friends must show himself friendly;and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother..

He startd to tell how U,Spencer was always his friend all his life,& started to give some of his testimony (that his family has never heard)(let me take that back he has 1 uncle that has)

I sat by his daddy ,& as Jim talked it HIT me ,,God took someone for him to see he was lost also,his grandma,5 yrs ago almost..

I had never thought of it till now,,,WHY??

I begin to cry even harder,& thought all these years Lord I never have studied my on husbands testimony..I'm Sorry to my LORD & to you Jim..

He told them how Jesus has been his BEST FRIEND for 5 yrs & if they dont know him,how he can be a friend to them also.....

His daddy he cried the whole time ,I watch his cousins look at him like,, this is not the Jim we know, he has changed!!

I have got to say he did a wonderful job, But I also have to say Its all Because of him....

We could not have even been able to go ,much less Jim preach ,if it was'nt for our Lord..
He is SSOOOO WONDERFUL!!

After the funeral we went ate with the family,everybody told him how they want to come hear him preach,& how he did such a good job,, he would say its just the LORD..

His cousin Tandi gave him a copy of a journal she had kept during her daddys sickness,,
Title; "My Thoughts During My Dad's Journey"

He did not read it that night,,,on sunday morning while he studied for sunday school he picked it up ,,I noticed he was crying..

He got done & said you got to read this,then find me something to put it in so dont nothing happen to it.....

In it was everyday of what he went through & how she wondered about his salvation also,
She said the only two people that talked to him about it during his sickness was her husband & Jim.

Some of what she said.... july-17"God has away of working things out" july-31st"I feel GOD is working on different people through this challenge" aug -11th "I knew I had to trust GOD,NO MATTER WHAT?" aug-26th " I was filled with joy"-- ''So GOD had proved himself again- he is ture to his word" sept -2nd "How much more can mama take?"--"LORD please help mom & dad!!"sept 5th--(back to the er he never went back home) sept-6th "i know GOD is watching over him & my family" "I am thankful for his mercy & grace." "Lord where would we be without it ? I dont want to find out !!" sept-13th "Thank you for loving me enough to carry me" Monday in the morning of sept -14th "Dad made the comment--I mine as well get it over with --I am unsure of why he said it??."--"We left to go to mamas to clean up for her" "Travis called my heart dropped."-" I crawled to his bed & prayed for God to take care of us.''-- "I prayed for understanding." sept 15th" GOD has taken the sweetest man I know home with him.-I had him for 32 years. About 15mins after that his daddy called him, he started to cry again while talking to him ??
I wonderd what they could be saying ??
He hung the phone up & said "For the first time in my life my daddy said he is proud of me."
I began to cry,,,,
(I dont know what that fells like;;my family has always said things like that to each other)

He walked away from me praying, "LORD you are doing it ! you said you would"
Makes me wonder ;these past few days,,, what did he pray for??

I said all that to say this & hope you can understand,through death or what ever it may be GOD needs our praise,he will get the Glory out of everything,he can even give you peace about someones salvation ,just as he has done us,,

I love you more today LORD then I did last week,I love your peace in the times of trouble,

" The LORD giveth he taketh away,,, blessed be the name of the LORD"

The funeral for Uncle Spencer was saturday,,
it went great I thought,,

They had 3 preachers,one to open the service up,one that talked about Uncle Spencer,(what kind of a man he was).. & then Jim ,,they told him to say whatever was on his heart,,,
He did a great job,,the Lord took over as soon as he started to speak,,

Thank you for the prayers,,
I will tell more about it another day,,

God has been working in this family!!

I did'nt know what title to give,,

I also did'nt think I would be posting this,this soon after my post on friday,Jims uncle Spencer just past away about a hour ago,its almost 7;00,but it feels like time is standing still ...Jim is not taking it well, he wont talk,,please pray for us..

Jim told me this morning, a few weeks ago when he went to see him, that he did ask he he was saved,u-Spencer said yes,& he was ready to go,,,,but today Jim is very upset,,because our Bible says you will know by their fruits???

(is it wrong of me to hold on to what u-Spencer said)

---My heart is broken---Jim has got to pray at the funeral please pray for him,

God is so WONDERFUL !!!!!**** HE KNOWS ALL,,HE WILL GET THE GLORY OUT OF ALL OF THIS****

Today on this Friay, I do not have alot to talk about(WHAT did I just say??)

Let me take that back,I dont have alot I think you would want to hear about,

So I'm going to give some updates,and ask for you to please pray for each of these,

(1)My friend Krista 32, that I posted about a few weeks back,

she had a heart attack,they did not think she would live through that night,but GOD answers prayers!!& when she was sent home 2 weeks later,only 45% of her heart was working,they said it was so bad that she would have to be so careful the rest of her life,she called me last friday,GOD has let her heart work 60% now & shes doing good..

Thank You for that prayer,

(2) Jims uncle Spencer,that has the 10 brain tumors & two on his lungs is not doing good,

(He is the one on your left with his mama,Jims daddy,&uncle Lowell in back)(taken christmas-08)

We are having a hard time with it, but the bad part of it is ,we dont know if he is saved?

Jim & I dont have the words we want to say,,we are having a real hard time with that part of it..he has about 10 grandkids,6 kids..please pray for him..

6 OF THESE KIDS ARE HIS GRANDKIDS..

(3) And now for my MawMaw,I was'nt going to post about her till we knew more but I can't wait. We found out last thurs,that she has skin cancer,they did a test on a spot on her nose & said it was a type of skin cancer,may or maynot be from the sun,??Its not the slow growing kind or the fast growing kind,but the medium growing kind ??

She has a place on the inside,that they are checking now,but she wont know anything for bout 2 or 3 weeks..

She is more than my MawMaw she is my FRIEND...

I love her so much, she is the only mawmaw I have left on this earth.

I know she is at the age that you can say she has lived her life, & she is saved, loves the Lord & lets everyone know she does,,,,,BUT I'm selfish & want her to be with us many, many, more years..

There is not a time I dont call her or I'm at her house that she's not talking about what she pray's for & how many prayers she has had GOD to answer for her,

Since I have been saved (5yrs) we have had the best talks,,

Its like she knew I would be someday & now she is getting it all out,

She so funny,always is dressed to a --T --(as people say) even when working out in the yard..for real..She loves to be pretty..

She has taught me so much.. Other than prayer,she taught me to love flowers, her & pawpaw are Mr& Ms Green thumbs & will tell you what you need to do in your yards,for them to look right..too funny she is..!!;o)

She is my mawmaw I love her with all my heart,& she is my friend.

She is the mother of 2, the grandmother of 6,the greatgrandmother of 11,..

I want her to be around for my grandkids to know.....

Please pray for her, U,Spencer & Krista,that the Lords will ,will be done..

Happy Late after noon, on this Labor day everyone.
Last night after church was over , & since everyone was off today, we had a few folks over for fellowship & pizza .

This morning after saying we was'nt going to do anything that had to do with work ,we got up after sleeping late & cooking breakfast, we decided to go fishing ,:O)

So we rode out to Liberty hill(reckneck land.ha)

West Point lake & a few other place's that we love to go to at times,

Nothing like family time ;o)

A few weeks ago I posted about Jim going rafting
with some of the men from the church..

Today is Me & my Loves 5 th Anniversary,

On Aug,20,04 We went to the court house

& got married ,2 weeks after I was saved.

Can you tell how happy he is ?:) ?:) ?:)

At the time I didnt care,

All I knew was God had told me to, & my pastor

had talked to me about needing to be, before I got baptized.

I knew that was the next step in living for the Lord.

So during a work day,on a friday,

We knew we had to go fill out some paper work & then

they would set us a date to come back & get married ??

So we thought ??

But do you know our LORD does what he wants to,when he wants to,,

We got to the court house & to our surprise !! they didnt have anybody up there at that time,

she said "we can do it NOW"," Fill out this" "Come this way".

(he also dont give us that time to talk our way out) Is'nt JESUS wonderful !!!

We got it done, one of Gods childern one not,,not yet!!

I always wanted a church wedding, so we came up with the idea

the next year our first ann, would fall on a sat, so we would renew

our vows.

...So Thats what we did....

It was wonderful, because this time he was saved.

It takes GOD to do this...

WE celebrate alot this time of year,,

Me being saved aug 6,we stated our life together in

aug-13 yrs ago,,we got married in aug, & Jim will be saved

5 yrs in oct.

Have I said this already ?? Is'nt JESUS wonderful!!

I am married to the love of my life,

....Because of Him....

The night we got married we said every year (the Lords will)

we would take atleast aday (24hours) to spend time together, (you know mama, daddy time,no kids)

The first year we went back & stayed in the same cabin,in pine mt Ga,

the next year we didnt have the money to go anywhere so we got a sitter & stayed at the house.

Last year we went in April,cause it was in the middle part of the year before our ann,cause we didnt get to go on our ann.(that doesnt make any sense, could 'nt think how to word it)

Anyway,,this year in the morning we are going to North Carolina & staying till sunday morning,

I know my man is the best !!:) LOL

It always helps to get away,but it sure helps to spend that away time with the one you love,.

I'm not a bad mom,I learned a few years back,that time away not only is good for you, its good for them..

So I'm going to have a good weekend ,Hope you do the same.

Will post pictures when I get back.

(take a few min to do something nice for you husband,they do have to put up with us right?)

Well, school is almost in full swing at the Butlers house.
I did say almost,,I as a teacher-mama I start slowly,
We stay so busy during our time off, it takes a while to get
back on a schedule. So we started last monday with
a few things & this week I added a few more.
Monday I will add the last few things,
So then the schedule will be in
full swing........

This is what our kitchen table looks like during the
year..has to be cleaned off everynight before supper.

No I'm not one of those people who has
a neat school room to keep all this in or
for my kids to do school in.
So we make room :)

They get up 7-7;30. they do a few chores to do-eat breakfast.
We get started around 8;30-9;oo,,,
Get done some time around 2;30-3;00 most days
and thats with 10min break & 45 min lunch...

I do try to let them have some fun,,
I'm not that bad of a teacher.
yesturday I let them have a icecream break.....

5 years ; part 2..

This week I have just been thinking on the 5 years I've been saved,,Last thursday it had been 5 wonderful years,(scroll down & read that post if you hav'nt already). On friday night we was in church-what a wonderful place to be on a friday night !The message was about what he "The LORD" went through for us before he ever got to the cross.It was wonderful...

It got me thinking on how lost people dont see it & how I didnt,,but I really got to thinking on people that say they are saved & not caring,,you see five years ago is not even a part of my life anymore ,& yes it is my past & I NEVER want to forget what I was before him..But I never want to go back,,but some do ,,go back to their old lives after living a christian life for a while or they say they got saved & never change.

I dont understand ? I'm not saying those people are not saved(we have to keep Lot in mind if the bible didnt tell us he was saved I would have to say he's not ) & I know people get saved & just get saved. Never do anything for the Lord or want to do anything for him .

Thats the part I dont understand, all he went through for us ,so we can be saved.

I owe(indebted) my life to him,my kids lives & everything I have, Its His....

As I write I'M going to include pictrues of my life now, how could I ever go back ????????

I got a phone call on yesturday from a dear friend I love some much,

she called me yesturday, so happy saying do you know what today is?

"Today is the day the Lord saved me 2 years ago"

But you know why her day is even more special to me & my husband,

because she was saved in Sunday School while my husband was teaching,ok preaching! its hard for him to teach...I'm not saying that just because it was Jim,,but when you see God use someone you love it sure helps..you know??

I the past few weeks have been told & heard somethings,

that some old friends dont understand like,why cant you go certainplaces ?,why dont you come around ?, why do you stay away from certain people that you would at one time go around ??

They think I have been told by my husband or my Preacher I cant go & do these things..

Its not that,,,I DONT WANT to do the things that I did at one time,,

My life is Great!!

I love it ..

Do I get down & have bad days,? sure I do,

Does things go wrong ? All the Time,

Do I hurt over this kind of talk,from people that is suppose to love me & be my friends till the end ? Feels like someone has cut my throat,

But I cant go back just because of a bad day,or because they dont like who I am now.

I dont need the devil telling me,when I hear all this stuff,how much better my life would be if I would just go back.

And trust me he does just that,!,when I heard all of this a few weeks ago,

the next week we started having love ones put in the hospital, one a week for 4 weeks.

He started to tell me I could just go back, to drinking,to that care free world of sin.

And things would'nt be so bad . He was even telling me ,my church dont care what I go through, your friends now or just your friends because they have to be.

And YES I was thinking about it all,Why do I go on? What do we get out of all this? Could it be better ??

Does my church care like they say they do ????

I got to where I could'nt even pray,,

thats what the devil will do !!

But then last week came;)

And before I knew it the LORD was bringing back to my mind

5 years ago, when I was lost & on my way to hell, with the devil.....

I started to think of the cross, & how I could not have gave my son to die for those who dont care....could you???

I thought how I have seen sooooo many blessings,in not just my life ,but the lives of others.

How Stevie couldnt even hold her head up the morning she was saved,,but God saved her & now she can hold it up proudly & worship Him...

O WHAT A SAVIOR !!! is mine..

I thought of Jim, he didnt even like me, but now he will do anything for me.

My childern, they hate to be sick now because they hate to miss church..

How do people go back ??????? I wish I knew,,

I would hate to know,the devil got me to go back because of his mind games & I missed out on Gods blessings,on seeing another friend or family member be saved, or seeing one of these loved ones be healed because of church & friends prayers..

My prayer is Lord keep the devil away,

not just from me but from your sheep,

I love You LORD !

Each day that I liveHe gives more than I need,

I could never describe His goodness to me,

You ask how I make it day after day,

There's only one thing I can say,,

Its been a long journey but I have been Blessed

Walking with Jesus I have no regrets

He is so good to me & I must confess

The way has been long,but I'm Blessed

All that I need I find at his feet,

When I hungry he feeds me with manna so sweet,

When my soul is weary I find peace & rest,

All I can say is I'm Blessed,

Now I've had my share of sunshine & rain

Have you ever wanted somthing that you know you wont ever have ,that you dont need, & that would make absolutly NO sense in having one ??(does that make sense ??)

Well we have been having some work done in our yards ,trees cut ,cleaning up.You know that work that always gets put off ;)

The guy we got doing all the hard work has got some of the coolest machines,

& I want one of these BAD BOYS !!

Not to sure what the correct name is for one of these,

I just know they dont play,

Me & my kids watched yesturday,as this machine cut about 15 trees to the ground in about 15 mins,,,good school lesson,,,

OK ,maybe they didnt learn anything just that mom wants one.

I told them if I had one I would be one of the..NO NO! I would be THE coolest mom around this part of Ga,

We could mud ride like no one else,,this thing can cross a ditch, climb a hill, cut a tree down all at the same time,,forget that 4 wheel drive boys, something new is in town!;)

You see,5 yrs ago today before 8pm, I was on my way to hell.
and to be honest at the time I did not care.
but there is a GOD in Heaven who did care for me.
I'm going to give a bit of my testimony,
and I hope you enjoy it.
Before sept 03,I thought I was saved
that month the Lord took someone out of our family
as fast as you can blink your eyes,it was my sisters fiance.
they was so happy onemin,& he was gone the next.
Days after his death I began to hate God & wondered
how can he do that to us ??So for 11 LONG months
I was a person no one wanted to be around.
as the days went on I just got worse. Me & Jim was
already just live in buddys ,didnt love each other the way we should have.
So we was BAD off by this point !! nothing was going right.
but little did I know they was a church praying for us (my daddys church)
The pastor at the time was Bro Michael Andrejewski,
He & his wife Ms Nina had such a burden for us that now when I
think back on it, I think they must have been praying Lord
whatever it takes. But I sure am thankful now..
I went to church on fri aug 6th,it was the last night of revival
meeting, and the only reason why went to church that night
was because my daddy said if I came he would take my youngest
home with him ,jim had the boys,so that told me afterchurch I could
go do what I wanted (no kids). I loaded her up, called my sister told
her I would be there around 9 to party with her.?.?.?.?
BUT GOD butted into my plans,I'll be honest I cant even tell you
if anybody else was there,I just heard a message & in that God told me
if I left that church unsaved I'd die & go to hell.
I guess you know what happened after that.
That night not only did he save me ,he told me I was about to start living,
& that my husband was the one & we needed to marry ? WHAT ? yes thats what I said !!
We had always said we would never marry,but I knew what God told me to do.
so 2 days later I told Jim we had to marry or I had to leave,,
And to my surprise he said ok..WHAT ?? yes i said it again.

This is us 2 weeks after i was saved,,I'm so happy,
but cant say the same
for him,,,look at that face ??
we had went to the court house on aug 20th
in the middle of a work day & got married.(one year later on our ann we had our ann we had a church wedding)

I hope you understand why I make such a big deal out of
this day,,
I was a drunk ,a drugy,not a good mother ,not a good friend ,
not a good anything..But GOD put us into the hearts of some people
that loved us ,so they would pray for us day & night.
its funny Bro Michael told us later when they first took the
church & meet my Daddy, my Daddy said I got some family that needs to be saved!!
I'm so THANKFUL for my Daddy & Bro Michael & Ms Nina.
I know they didnt save me, but God does use his people.
This is the things I get to see now !!:)

Today is MsNina birthday,,

she is a very good friend of mine;she was my pastors wife
for about a year.

God called them to the mission field in oct,2007
This was there last service at Living Waters Baptist,
in LaGrange Ga.

I miss her so much,wish I could see her today & take her
for a cup of coffee,,( she loves coffee )

The time has arrived !!!

My Husband says the time has come..

for our 12 year old boys to help with the real work.

since we remodeled the inside of our house last year we

have been wanting to start on the deck ,,

that we have talked about for about 5-6yrs now !:)

So the past few weeks "well all summer"

we have been talking about a pool (yes I said a POOL !!)

So on friday afternoon Jim put hiself & the boys to work.

they did not come in friday till about 11p.m.

And got started yesturday around 10am

& worked till about 5p.m...

I got the 3 hardest working men around :)

Jim just so happy the boys can help & understand

whats going on ..(yes im sad my babies are 12 & can do hard work) :(

As they was finishing up,it was snack time.

Krista is doing better,45percent of her heart is working now

& no blood clots anymore,Thank you LORD !

as of now she is going to be on lots of meds for the rest of her life.

please keep her in your prayers,,( shes the one in the gray between me & audra)

32 yrs old,,not old enough to be having a heart attack.

Bible School was wonderful last week,on friday some of the parents

came we had a grillout , awards time, & then game time,,

until one parent stepped in ,((to her it was taking to long)) to carry small bucket

back & forth,, so she cheated & talked some kids in picking the big bucket of water up.Stevie i love you but you did cheat,,LOL (but,that is why kids love you)

We also had a balloon release, it was so prettyas they went up.

This little girl is now Dawns best friend,,& boy is she a mess.

We love you Morgan !!

A BIG Thank you to all of the parents that let your children

come,, I fell in love with so many children last week,I cried

sunday when it hit me that it is over till next year.

So many kids that have such hard times that we dont even think about.

Dont know if you think like I do & i'm ashamed to say we get so caughtup in our own lives

we dont think how bad some people have it..

Lord I pray what the chidren learned ,they never forget

& for me to stop thinking my kids dont have enough ,& to start praying for those who dont even have a home with a mama & daddy.

Well we got done with Bible School on friday night, Had a great week just very tired,
We had 3 people in hospital last week also,,
2 of those went home,,then last night as we left church we got another phone call that a long time friend of mine had a heart attack- shes only 32 yrsold. does'nt smoke does'nt do drugs,
has been on a diet the past few weeks & lost bout 25-30 pds.
I dont think I understand,,,We know people who do drugs (hard drugs) & their lives seem to go
as they want it too,....And I know GOD is in control,,just sometimes for me I dont understand.!

I ask that you all pray for her & her family,the doc's are going to run more tests today.
I will later post pic's of Bible School & her.
but right now I need to get things done & get out to see her.

Today is my nephew"s (Stephen)b-day.

I cant believe he is 21 today

I remember the day he was born.

Not that i'm old !!!(just got good memory LOL)

I was 9 when he came along, he belongs to my oldest

sister Renee ..he was the first grandchild born in this

family..

Last Night was our first night of Bible School...
It turned out great !!

we have 3 classes

2-5,,6-8,,9-13,

We have some great teachers also,,

We are very happy on how things have turned out .

We had 43 kids & 17 grown ups to show up,

Thank You to all teachers who are helping ,taking your time to

teach the children about the Lord & what all he has done for us.

Please keep the rest of this week in your prayers!!

This week has been very sad,,the girl in this pictrue is my nephews girlfriend--brittany, very sweet girl, her grandmother passed away this past friday night,,its been very hard on them.. The girl in the other pictrue with gray on ,her aunt passed away tonight,this aunt is more like her grandma,,& I know their going to miss her very much,,.This morning we got the phone call about Jims uncle Spencer ,they found out friday morning he has 10 brain tumors & two lung tumors, & he's only 61,5 kids & lots of grandkids..they hav'nt said how long he may have & I know only God knows,,but whats so sad he's not saved.Jim says he never remembers him even going to church..could yall please help me PRAY for him & his family !! its very sad for us,, On the other hand we are starting vacation bible this week. theme is " never let your well run dry" so I ask for prayers again for this week & I'm also over it never have done that before so it may be crazy !!!I'm in no kind of way good at handling things,, so I hope you all have a good week .Please keep these families in your prayers. thank you.

Nantahala River ....

My Husband is leaving me tomorrow about lunch time to go,,rafting down the nantahala river..which looks something like this; I'm miss him already, Don't want him to go,

Not that I don't want him to have a good time, and he is going with some men from the church & thats o.k ..I'm just crazy about him !! :) is that good or bad.?. He told me last night " I've been before without you ,why you being this way "? Oh but its not the same now baby! I didnt care back then if you never came home.. I think he understood!! And for those of you that dont know us ,,we only been saved 5yrs.( well almost 5 aug6th for me & oct 10th for him) we hated each other , BUT !!Oh what God can do to a heart ? or in our case Hearts..So just pray for me friday & sat ...yes he's only going to be gone a little over 24hours..but I still need prayer please.. thanks!!! I will tell our story at a later time.. Becka :)
